The Cake Boss & Martha Stewart better lookout! Ahahahaha. Obviously not but a girl can dream. Last week, on a whim, myself and 2 of my friends signed up for a cake decorating class with the promise of learning techniques, lots of laughter & quality time with friends. It did not disappoint. We were each given decorating kits, a 6 inch cake & hands-on instruction on how to level, stack, ice & smooth. We played around with different tips & then decorated our cakes applying what we had learned. I had to keep refilling my icing bag because it was just so darn good, I ate it up faster than I squeezed it out. It’s very challenging too! Lots of patience, control & practice is required. And laughs. With as many mishaps as we had, mixed with our sarcastic humor & giggling fits – there were lots of laughs to go around. Good thing it was a small cake, considering it didn’t last 3 day in my house. I am pretty excited about class # 2 tonight!
